I have just encountered Piaggio's version of the quick detachable rear wheel on my Mp3. I nearly needed a wheelbarrow to cart enough tools to do the job. 10 -12-17 and 24mmsockets an 8mm allen key and a pair of pliers to remove the split pin. Maybe I have been spoilt by the the english versions of the same thing where you just undo the nut pull out the spacer and axle and you're right to go.
But on the bright side at least I have found a use for my metric sockets even the 11 mm one which I had not ever used except for the bleeder nipples on the front callipers. .
