I bought my wife a 2013 lx. shes a shorty at 5 foot even and could use a little help at traffic lights.

I did a quick search but couldn't find any thinner seats for modern bikes. does anyone have a plug on low profile seats for an LX

This rider makes my 5'5" look tall. She rides with platform boots on both of her scooters to help her bridge the gap.

The solo seat which fits the LX and S models is a little shorter than the double seat which was standard on the LX. I had one on my last LX and liked it. It may not be enough to make the difference you want for a 5' rider. The other choice would be to have a motorcycle/scooter upholstery shop do a cut down on the padding of your present seat.
