I'm new to the scootering scene and been on this forum a couple of months now with some issues I've been having and can I say that everyone has been so helpful and patient as some of my issues I bet have been done to death on here before lol. My question is is there a dedicated lml scooter forum? Although this forum is very good lml posts seem to be none existent really I mean are the lml scooters frowned upon as there not proper vespas etc..... This is fine like but some people start of cheap like me to build up to the old classics or even see if the scene is for them.....
Hope all that made sense cheers Alex I'm in the UK whether that makes any difference.

I don't know of an LML forum that is currently active. I don't feel that LML bikes are frowned upon here at all. Many of us have them (including me) or are running LML engines in Vespa scooters.

Many point out issues with LML, like faulty cranks, lower quality original bearings, wiring, etc…but in the spirit of helping overcome the shortcomings of a bike that otherwise has a lot of potential.

A number of people have built performance engines with the LML and I would be surprised if anyone here would give you the virtual hairy eyeball for having one.

Yup. I own two Stella's (US market LML's) and have built multiple 25-28HP motors using small block LML reed cases.

There used to be an LML forum called Stellaspeed, but it went away close to ten years ago. Jess lets us have this corner of MV for shifty Vespas in all their forms, and that includes LML's.

TL;DR: IMO, if it's derived from a Vespa, two stroke, steel bodied, and shifts on the headset, it's welcome here.

Ah well that's good to hear like I said not taking anything away from this forum it's great just don't see alot about lml specially to a newbie who's very green about scootering and how to fix such faults you've mentioned lol. 🙄🙄😂👍

There is a Genuine Stella Owners page on Facebook. The quality of input there is a lot better than it used to be, but this group is still the best.

I have a Stella also, don't let the brand name scare you off. Most parts I buy are "Vespa" and fit fine.
