I have a stock SS180 and I'm looking for a new clutch. I see BGM and DRT both make upgraded versions. Anyone have a recommendation?

Thanks in advance.

No experience with the aftermarket clutch bits for the SS.

Be interested in what you find though...

I have a stock GS160 and that clutch holds up pretty well. I think the heavier flywheel on the SS puts more stress on the clutch and the bigger springs Piaggio changed to make the basket much weaker. I have seen a bunch of SS baskets crack.

I banded my stock SS basket a few years ago but it still noisy and I'm wondering if it compromised. Either aftermarket clutch is probably better than stock. I think Piaggio punted on the stock one.

The heavy flywheel makes the SS pull like a train through the gears but I think the GS's lighter flywheel is more fun.
