https://www.rideapart.com/news/668019/vespa-dual-series-sxl-vxl-india/

"The more affordable VXL versions start at Rs 132,000, or about $1,596 USD, while the SXL models retail for Rs 149,000, or approximately $1,801 USD."

I was left disappointed because I thought you meant some kind of dual sport! Facepalm emoticon

I like the idea of a two-tone Vespa.

I wonder if the range is being built locally in India? Certainly the very low retail prices would suggest so.

I did that once with my white and blue GTS300s. Swapped over the plastic bits.

Holy ripoff Batman! $1800 US? Facepalm emoticon We are so screwed by this company in North America, Porsche prices for a scooter. My dealer wants almost $500 for a folding rear rack. For a few dollars more I could buy an entire scooter. It shows how much profit Piaggio makes off us and how cheap it is to make one. I'd be a lot more cheesed off except that I like my scoot…

Those are pretty though.

lol is there such a thing as a broken record syndrome?

And what about charges for things like a single Bitubo front shock for the Vespa GTS 300, costing north of $300 in the United States? Is that an outrage too? Or are you simply paying for the function, build quality, research, design and local costs to stay in business? I paid without regrets. The same way I paid my dealer for a new Vespa, which so far has been well worth it.

If you don't want to pay that much, think of something that is made with Tupperware style panels instead of steel. Way cheaper. BTW for shocks you could go with generic low cost replacements if you like to ride on them just as much. Your choice.

2006 called. They want their LX back.

I do like the seat rest that gives a little support to the 4th person on the seat.

Well they're advertising it for seven people. Dual families?
Four on the seat, Two on the floor, One on the bars?
