Hello Everyone,

I need some guidance. SO my Vespa is only 2 years old and only has 700 miles on it. Took it out for its first ride of the season the other day and the check engine light came on. I immediately purchased a Diagnostic Scan Tool and Cable for my Vespa. I got an O2 sensor code (See pics). However, I took it for another ride shortly after connecting the tool and the check engine went away.
ANY suggestions? Was it the O2 Sensor? Should I be concerned?

Not sure on the Emissions Canister. I can check it, but wouldn't the check engine light still be on?

If you had just filled it up with gas prior to the check engine light coming on it is going to the evap canister. Especially if it goes away within 48hr and no additional fill ups.

Emission Canister is clear and the gas tank was filled up from the end of last season. The fuel was stabilized for storage.

No, any gas that makes it in the EVAP canister will eventually evaporate.

I wouldn't worry at this stage

if you want to monitor it a bit more then watch that O2S11 voltage. it should wander between approx 0.1 and 0.9. try also holding the revs at around 4000-5000 and check that all is still ok (including that o2 voltage). Also make sure your observations are after the engine has been running for 60secs as for the first 30 or 60 (I forget which) the ecu will ignore the o2/lambda.
