Hi, I need to change the gear oil on my lx50 2 stroke but my drain bolt is rounded off and rusted so I'll pully it out with a visegrips or weld an Allen key to it and remove it but I don't know what the size it to get a replacement.
Does anybody know?

Thanks

When faced with my unknown drain bolt (ie will the bolt turn, or will it round off?) , I opted to use a syringe to change the oil.

Worked well. 👍

Here's a link to a spare part: https://www.pedparts.co.uk/product/8265/oil-drain-allen-screw-piaggio-50-500cc?ga4List=

Not a great way to do it as all the crud will remain in the sump.

Agreed - but if you need to get a bike on the road and can't drain from the sump, it'll do. 👍

Most important thing is to get it warm (put some miles on it etc), then suck it out while crud is suspended in the oil. Mine came out clear (only 7000 km on the ODO though).

As OscarSass's link helpfully mentions, the fastener is M8 x 11.
