I have a 300 MP3 2010, and when I start it, it works perfectly fine but the temperature level on dashboard stays on the first line until it loses RPM after a couple of minutes and I have to switch engine off and turn everything off. When I turn it back on, the dashboard temperature is two or three lines, engine starts like a charm and it works just fine. Anyone with the same issue? I've found it as a problem throughout internet, but no one have any solution. (Excuse my description, I'm Greek and I'm doing my best to write everything correctly)

Sounds to me like a problem with the temperature sensor (or the cable that send the signal from), which is sending wrong information to the ECU and it shuts down the bike after a while. It is the only thing that would justify both problems (lose RPM and wrong info in the dash).

Checking Parts Piaggio for a 2010 Mp3 300cc series.

This can help you locate where the Temp Sensor is located on the frame.

Do not buy parts unless you are very sure of which model and variation of Mp3 you have. Parts Piaggio indicates at least four different versions of and if the parts are not an exact match it may not work properly.

See Part Number 14 for "Temp. Sensor"

Update. AF1 racing sells these too. $30 USD

LOL, 4 different temp sensor variants for 1 bike model. That's soooo Italian.

That sh!t would never fly in Germany or Japan.

Agree with the comment to check well before buy (are expensive part), but I check all the 4 variants and all use the same part number, the 58273R, inclusive the Ibrido models for the 2010 year. The other part number is substituted by this one. This part is shared by the GTS, Primavera LXV, etc, so not that bad
