Hello Again folks, Here is another interesting issue/question. Lots has been posted here about immobilizer antenna issues. I have been stranded too many times on my 2018 GTS and I got a great trade offer from Seacoast in NH so I just got my 2023 Super Sport. Had a few issues with the keyless system, but Jim at the dealership walked me through the fix over the phone. As I was waiting for a callback from him I started wondering if my Apple AirTag might have been interfering with the connection between the key and the system on the 2018. A quick search turned up issues with AirTags and several automobile keyless systems. Anyone have any thoughts on this or have had a similar problem?

The advice to all Piaggio owners who have immobilisers is never to have any other item - house key, air-tag, whatever, attached to the chipped ignition key.

That said, individual experimentation may prove that some inert items are fine (I get away with a top-box key and a house key with mine).

An air-tag or similar active device, almost certainly not.

AirTag was on my key ring.

Maybe unclip the wireless key thingy that your 2023 uses and stick it in your jacket pocket instead.

For non-keyless I'd always recommend having a clip to detach the key from the bunch to protect the paint anyway
