Okay, I'm stuck and I need help. Big deal this as blokes don't usually ask😂

I've bought a 1975 150 Super with a 10" wheel conversion. The front brake doesn't work properly.

The cable can't pull the cam far enough for the shoes to interface with the drum. The arm where the cable attaches to touches the cable adjusting mount.

It's as if I need bigger shoes that need less movement or a spacer where the shoes fit onto the cam.

If I adjust the shoes so they are almost touching the drum, there isn't room for the cable to pull the cam before the cam arm touches the cable mount.

All suggestions gratefully received.

Think I'm sorted! On inspecting the shoes it appears this has been reassembled without the clips that fit where the shoes sit on the cam. I've tracked these down so I'll let you know how I get on.
