I have heard there really good.
Is this true?
Any thoughts?
I still really like how they look I get to test ride a storm 300 next week.
I wish my kymco dealer had a 300 in stock for comparison .
Loncin makes the entire C400. If you get to test a Storm let us know how it stacks up.

The same scooter as the BMW 400 is sold as a Voge 400 in Europe, and you do hear the occasional snide comment about how BMW didn't even try to pretend they made this one. They just stuck their rondel on a Chinese scooter. Word is that BMW was a bit miffed that the Chinese company brought the same bike to market in Europe for a whole lot less. People soon figured out they could get replacement parts without paying BMW prices.

If you're talking to the people selling them or the people shilling for them online, all you're going to hear is rainbows and unicorns. Talk to people who have already bought one, after they've done more than take it up and down the block on a test ride. Talk to the people who take them out of the crate and put them together at dealerships, then work on them when they come back for repair. Check to see if there are examples of this model sitting in the shop. It's fairly new and nobody is selling many of them. If you see some in service, waiting for parts, that will tell you quite a bit. Even if they point out one that went 150,000 miles without even changing the oil, you want to find out about the ones that didn't. That's how you will find out what you are really buying.

Obviously a better choice. Gordon Jennings, a writer for Cycle magazine said, "Avoid first year engines like the plague."

And Japanese quality in the XMax to boot is a better bet.
