Hey guys I'm installing the Speedo 2.0 from SIP and the fuel low tap elect extension has a 2 pin socket at the speedo but after every other sensor/ power line is hooked up the only free socket on the speedo end is a 3 pin. Has anyone come accross this before? The only other 2 pin female is for the controll button. Thanks

I've got 1 on a VNA and 1 on a VNB both had only one possible hook up point. It's the orange green and black wired three prong hook up. See below.
This is the cable end from the speedo

And then the clip from the fuel gauge

The 2 pin ones are for the button and the temp sensor.

Doesn't make sense though. The fuel tap sensor is just a contact with two wires. They probably messed up the instructions or the plugs…

Both of mine have three. Orange green and black wires. Where it connected at the fuel tap it's only a two wire plug. The orange wire is for the voltage meter that connects to a battery if you have one. Or tape it off and don't use it.

OP can you take pics of your hook ups? That'll make it easier to suss out.

So what's extension cable, the side on the fuel gauge look like?

So if you want the voltage reading, you need to figure out a way to tack onto the orange wire somehow?

Hey thanks guys it looks like a plug on the extension from the fuel gauge is 3 pin but should be 2 pin for the speedo hook up. Anyone here in touch with SIP regarding this yet? Cheers

Anyone had issues with the setting button? Mine seems to be buggered and doesn't. React to any inputs.

You can test the button. When you push the button, the two button cables should be "show connected" - beep when you do continuation test on a multimeter.
