I watched a show about the aggressiveness of Sea Lions. Something was said about alge blooms affecting their brains. We are having an upswing in shark bites. Could it be the same affect?
Old TV shows predict things such as, The communicator, Viral outbreaks and maybe a zombie apocalypse? How long before your dogs and cats Go nuts?
It's amazing how quick humans do things without caring about cause and affect.

Forget Zombie Apocalypse, its Artificial Intelligence that will be the most likely destroyer of humans.

Once they realise they are smarter than us and don't need us, we're doomed.

As the earth's population increases there are more instances of everything. If there are twice as many sharks biting humans since 1970 that might be because there are twice as many humans than there were in 1970. Same demand - more supply. Not to mention the internet and the 24 hour news cycle making commonplace things seem apocalyptic.

The only thing I'll ever prep for is something like the volcanic eruptions in the 1800's that made it very hard to grow crops. I think there was acid rain also.

I'll isolate the problem. Nitrates in the water. It might be too expensive to change the way its applied in agriculture.
Here's my thought.
Two neighborhoods. 1) spray on application(easy way) 2) nitrates injected 3 inches into the soil.
Next time it rains. Check the runoff for nitrates in PPM.
If it works. Fix the fuck'n problem.

Title: Vespa Scooters: Surprisingly Versatile Vehicles in the Zombie Apocalypse

Introduction

When we think of surviving a zombie apocalypse, bulky armored vehicles or motorcycles often come to mind. However, in the chaotic and unpredictable world of the undead, Vespa scooters might just be the unlikely heroes we need. Despite their modest appearance, these compact two-wheelers possess several qualities that make them valuable assets in a post-apocalyptic scenario. In this article, we will explore the potential roles of Vespa scooters and how they could aid in survival during a zombie outbreak.

Agility and Maneuverability

One of the greatest strengths of Vespa scooters is their agility and maneuverability. With their lightweight build and nimble handling, these vehicles can navigate through congested streets, narrow alleyways, and even off-road terrain with relative ease. In a world overrun by the undead, the ability to quickly weave through obstacles and escape tight spots could mean the difference between life and death. Vespa scooters' compact size also allows for easy parking and storage, making them convenient in urban environments.

Fuel Efficiency and Maintenance

During a zombie apocalypse, resources such as fuel and spare parts become scarce. Vespa scooters, renowned for their excellent fuel efficiency, offer a distinct advantage in this regard. With smaller engines compared to larger vehicles, Vespa scooters can cover considerable distances on minimal fuel consumption, allowing survivors to venture further in search of supplies or safer locations. Additionally, their simplicity of design makes them easier to maintain and repair, as opposed to more complex vehicles that may require specialized skills and tools.

Stealth and Silence

In a world teeming with flesh-eating zombies, remaining inconspicuous is paramount. Vespa scooters excel in providing a silent mode of transportation. Unlike loud, rumbling engines that draw attention, Vespa scooters operate quietly, reducing the risk of attracting unwanted undead attention. This stealth advantage allows survivors to move undetected through urban areas, increasing their chances of evading zombie hordes or scouting for supplies without alerting potential threats.

Speed and Escape

While Vespa scooters may not possess the same speed capabilities as motorcycles, they are still faster than the average zombie's shuffling gait. With a top speed of around 60 miles per hour (100 kilometers per hour), Vespa scooters can outrun individual undead pursuers and even small groups of zombies. Their swiftness and acceleration give survivors a vital edge when it comes to escaping dangerous situations, providing a valuable means of retreat when confronted by overwhelming numbers or hostile human factions.

Versatility and Customization

Vespa scooters offer a surprising level of versatility when it comes to customization. With a little ingenuity and creativity, survivors can modify their Vespas to enhance their effectiveness in the face of a zombie apocalypse. Attachments such as reinforced metal frames, wire mesh screens, or even makeshift weapon racks can be added to fend off attacking zombies or provide a barrier between the rider and the undead. Furthermore, the scooters' storage compartments can be repurposed to carry essential supplies or makeshift weapons, ensuring that survivors are well-prepared at all times.

Conclusion

In the midst of a zombie apocalypse, survival requires adaptability and resourcefulness. Vespa scooters, with their agility, maneuverability, fuel efficiency, and stealth capabilities, offer a unique advantage for survivors. While they may not possess the brute force of larger vehicles, their speed, versatility, and customization potential make them invaluable assets in navigating through zombie-infested landscapes. So, the next time you picture a zombie apocalypse, don't underestimate the humble Vespa scooter—sometimes, the most unexpected heroes rise to the challenge.

I'm sure we can find more examples if we can stay on topic. Very good example.
How about a population explosion of giant jelly fish.
