Brief history, I bought this scooter years ago from my buddy after his daughter went straight into a hedge with it and vowed to never ride it again lol
Its a bit of a scratch and dent but i really like like riding it. It has a 70cc cylinder a pipe and some sort of clutch kit so it gets up and goes. To date its been bulletproof.
I let it sit over the winter with ethanol pump gas and when i rode it next realized it was leaking fuel from the bowl. A quick inspection revealed the bowl gasket had dried out and split. Replaced it and cleaned out the carb thoroughly. Next time i ran it everything was fine until i shut it off. Fuel was leaking out the drain tube on the bottom of the carb for about an hour (assuming a bad needle and seat so i purchased one)
Now i go in to replace those parts and i find this thing rolling around the bowl. It appears to be a brass tube with a rubber grommet around the middle so i imagine it goes in some orifice. Any ideas? it isnt in any of the parts schematics i can find online and im not that familiar with Dellorto carbs.
