Hey guys. It hurts having to make this post but I'm experiencing problems with my vespa. My Vespa was not being used for over a month as I was travelling. When I tried to use it again, it was simply not starting despite the cranking. I experienced this a few times in the cold, but on this particular occasion it felt hopeless. I thought this could be the battery, however all the lights seem to light up properly (though I'm yet to test the battery properly). A day later I gave it another go, and as the engine was cranking, I was smelling a lot of fuel. Eventually I noticed a fluid dripping on the ground, which might be fuel. I then had a look at the engine as I attempted to start up the scooter and I captured this fluid spewing out of some pipe. Now I'm not sure if this is directly related to the engine not starting, but it seems like a serious problem.

Here is a video of the fluid/fuel: https://streamable.com/5gjd0x

I'm pretty new with vespa so I'm quite clueless, as you may already tell.

I have a vespa LX 50 from 2013. It has around 13,000km.

I'd appreciate any help!

Your fuel line from the fuel tap under the tank to the carburettor has sprung a leak. Now would be a good time to replace not only that, but the vacuum line as well (the other line going to the fuel tap). Both these should be treated as consumables, and replaced every few years.
