I was wondering if anyone here hauls their scooters in a toy hauler camper. I am planning on hauling a GTS 250 and GTS 300 in a toy hauler and looking at secure tie down options/systems.

I have found a system that looks nice but expensive. It is from Bolt It On systems.

Interested to hear what others have done or if anyone has the Bolt It On system, what their experience is.

Thank you in advance.

I have never hauled with a toy trailer, but I have hauled scooters and bikes inside a sprinter van.

I use a combination of wheel chock, such as a Baxley or Trackside, canyon dancers, and ratchet straps.

I assume the toy hauler comes equip with floor anchors?

The advantage of the wheel chocks is you can use them in and out of the trailer, in your garage, etc.. they also might allow for more dynamic hauling configurations. Just as long as you're following best practices for weight distribution of the load.

I think the Fiero girls from the cannonball have one. Might ping them on Facebook.

I was not familiar with the term "Toy Hauler". Then yesterday, a huge commercial on TV advertising Toy Haulers and their great utility.

They seemed to be marketing to the Sturgis South Dakota motorcycle event attendees. I would see those Camper Travel Trailers at the annual Auto Show that had a specific space in the back for bikes, ATVs and snowmobiles. I do not think they were labeled "Tot Haulers" then.
