According to Scooterwest the North American key fob is not available for ordering but I heard during the cannonball someone was able to get their fob cloned. Does anyone know who or where I can get a 2023 US key fob cloned?

I tried finding it on the SF1 parts diagrams for 2023 but couldn't find it. https://www.af1racing.com/1D004096-OEM-Vespa-Key-blank--Dealer-Prog-Reqd Instructions by AF1 (uses PADS). Probably a copy and paste from the workshop manual https://www.af1racing.com/prodimages/st3/1B004096_d7.pdf (found via 2023 parts catalogue in 'coachwork - locks' section) ⚠️ Last edited by SteelBytes on UTC; edited 3 times

I checked with one of the guys in Italy who has been able to get me a lot of parts for the Indian made models they don't sell in Italy, and he said that fob is for the Asian market, and hasn't shown up in Piaggio's Pontedera inventory yet.
I don't know why they would fly just enough of this part over to Italy for the comparatively few US market bikes they make, but not have it available in the Euro warehouse, or use the version of the fob they use in the EU market bikes on the NAFTA bikes, if they're coming out of the same factory. Everything eventually seems to show up in Pontedera, so I'll check from time to time and see if it pops up in anyone's inventory list.

I recently bought a GTS from the fine folks at Moto Richmond in Richmond, VA, and they told me they ordered a bunch of extra fobs when they came out and had a stockpile. They offered to sell me a spare.

I would definitely buy a spare while you have the chance. This looks like its going to be at least 500 dollars for me.
