Modern Vespa

Hey all, so I'm having an issue with my 2007 Piaggio MP3 where I can't seem to open the rear trunk by turning the key in th ignition like normally works. When I push the key into the ignition and turn the right way I can hear a sound like some latch/lock is being released or there's at least something happening, but the door doesn't pop open like it used to. I also tried pulling the door open while the turning the key in the ignition and pushing it inward but no luck. I can't see anything in the trunk that would be jamming it so I'm not sure what's going on.

Any thoughts?

I hope you find a solution because mine is suffering from the same problem. The seat latch works fine so I can reach back into the trunk but I have to use a screwdriver to open the fuel door.

Well I found my problem the black plastic surround on the ignition switch had come out of it locating slots and was not allowing the key full travel. Put it back in correctly with a drop of adhesive to stop it happening again.
