I am searching for a cell phone holder for my longer rides for GPS that would be an easy pop on and off. I don't want to keep it on all the time since I don't like the way any mods look on my scooter……not even a top case, just like the classic look all the time. Ideas??

You could start with a RAM Mount Claw: https://rammount.com/pages/tough-claw. However, "easily removable" might be "easily lost accidentally". I'd go with a U-bolt base: https://rammount.com/products/ram-b-149z-a-pd4u. A little more obtrusive but more secure. With RAM Mounts you have lots of choices for bases and phone mount attachments.
There's another popular brand of phone mount too, that's not too unsightly, but I can't recall the name.

How about a sports holder for your forearm, like the joggers use?

Put it on your right forearm if you want to use the touch screen while you're moving, or on your left forearm if you just need to look at it occasionally.

This is the way.

RAM mounts have a 1" ball-and-socket design. There is a whole plethora of phone mounts (Peak Design, SP Connect, QuadLock) that fit in that system, and plenty of threads already here of people stumping for their choice.

My hope is to find something that I can take on and off super easily and just use when I need…… not to have something that I need to keep on

Would this be any good? Far too big for the mirror as is, but should be able to pack out out with some rubber strips.

I've got the quadlock mirra mount and it works a treat, but would also prefer it not to be there when I'm not using it!

RAM mounts are very easy to take off and on. Just one wingnut. Plus they have a huge selection of phone and other device mounts. I bet there's one specific for your phone.

I made a guide on this since it gets asked every 2.4 days, no one uses the search function before asking, and I got tired of repeating myself:
