OK,
There has been lots said on this forum about Michelle CityGrip2 proper install direction. But nobody has posted definitive pictures.
This install from a professional bike shop looks incorrect to me. Both FRONT & REAR!
The yellow tape arrow show the direction the tire embossed arrow points for the specific install (Front or Rear).
Please advise...[/img]

You are quite correct, they got it wrong, and if that's your bike demand they get it right.

Thanks for the confirmation.
I have shown these pics to the shop, and they said that they 'got it wrong'.
But just wanted to triple check before bring my scooter back to the shop.
-Actually, I pulled the wheels off and brought them just the wheels.
So now I have to decide: What is more work?
1) Load scooter in my trailer and tow to shop.
or
2) Just remove the wheels (and reinstall) a 2nd time.

So what is more work? Removing the wheels or loading/unloading my scooter 2 times?!?

Personally I'd remove the wheels - it doesn't take that long, and the shop will thank you, especially if you make light of their mistake - I doubt they'll do it again! Plus you will know the torques etc are OK.

Did they balance them?

I don't believe they were balanced. I did not find 'balance weights' on the front wheel. The shop work order did not state that they were balanced.
Why do you ask?
How important is balancing for a Vespa tire?
Cheers!

Any wheeled vehicle that goes over ~50mph should have the wheels balanced. You can get awful vibrations at speeds of anywhere between 60 and 80 as the wheel/tyre combo gets into resonance. This instability can be extremely dangerous.

Basically any Vespa over 50cc should have the wheels balanced. My UK dealers always insisted on it, not an option.

Because I know a lot of shops are of the mindset, whether they actually believe it or not, that you don't have to balance little Vespa wheels....

So if a shop that thinks so little, or maybe doesn't think at all, about installing Vespa wheels, it was a pretty safe bet that they didn't balance your wheels either... so I wanted to give you the heads up.

PS: everything Jim said, I echo that

Have you tried chucking a weight on a balanced wheel and riding around the cemetery to see if you can tell?
Get your lovely assistant (you have a lovely assistant right???) to either put a lead weight on or not, and don't look.

Speed limit in the cemetery doesn't go high enough for testing that
