I just installed the (1B003754) / GTS13PA-HPE, FRONT FOLDING RACK CHROME GTS (HPE / HPE2), on a 2022 Vespa GTS 300 HPE. If it is the correct Front Rack, the 2022 GTS 300 HPE and/or for the 2023 HPE2. Then the Front Crash Bar's should fit on a 2022. Correct???

So Why, dose it transcribe: "**CHROME** FRONT CRASH BARS ORIGINAL PIAGGIO (1B010255) VESPA GTS HPE2 2023-CURRENT"
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=adqIhm_57Qw&t=76s
I drill the same upper hole, in my horn cover. So why will it not work?

Robot says those bars are specific for the 2023, NOT the 2022.

Edit: The fitment on Scooterwest says only for the 2023 also.

Either the 2023 has mounting holes already on the bottom or they do fit, but nobody's thought to try them yet.

SIP is listing the European versions. Their MY22 is our MY23. If you have a US model MY22, it is not the same as the European one.

There were changes to the chassis/bodywork for the 23 vs the 22 in the US. If you have a 2022 model year, then parts made for the 2023 model year are not likely to fit your ride.

So what has changed from 2022 to 2023? Because this bracket will fit a 2022 and the Upper Bracket will go over the Upper Bracket of the Folding Front Luggage Rack. Is the 2023 Much-Wider, then the 2022?
This bracket will fit a 2022 Vespa GTS 300 HPE.

All I am asking is what makes a 2023 Vespa GTS 300 HPE2 Legshield Different, then a 2022's Vespa GTS 300 HPE Legshield?
- I have shown what are the same for the Mounting Points, for the "Front Crash Bars Original 2023 Vespa GTS 300 HPE2 Legshield". That are the same for the Mounting Points, for the 2022 Vespa GTS 300 HPE Legshield.
So why can I not install "Front Crash Bars Original 2023 Vespa GTS 300 HPE2", on a 2022's Vespa GTS 300 HPE Legshield? - Why?-

No one has answered that question.

maybe you can.

if you're willing to take the risk of the cost of a return with shipping an awkwardly large package, by all means go for it.

or just order the crash bars for the proper year.

whatever you prefer man, life's glorious that way.

Actually I don't feel like writing in this thread, I find your way of asking questions more than strange. Incoherent, bold, know everything better anyway.

Fact is:
- For the article you mentioned, the compatibility is indicated only from the facelift MY23. Note: internally at Vespa is called MY22 because this is released in October 2022.
- at least the trim around the leg shield has been changed including the way it is fixed. The trim is 100% incompatible between Facelift and Pre-Facelift.
- the cascade has been changed, but largely compatible, except for the upper termination to the trim, there it fits only conditionally.
- after also the position and size of the turn signals have been changed as well as the fender has become narrower it COULD be that the geometry (width, height, inclination) of the leg shield has changed

One argument against changing the front shape of the leg shield is that the front luggage rack fits both the pre-facelift and MY23 / facelift.

I have no idea if the front rack and leg shield bracket are compatible with each other.

If you know how to weld and bend metal, and/or have access to a large hammer, you should be able to install it.
