Hi

I am seeking help concerning the Vespa I bought in 2006 from the Ferrari store in Milan.

It was displayed in the window, and I bought it but had to wait 2 months for the delivery, as we had to wait for the window display change.

Under the seat there is a tag with Schedoni logo, and in the front there is the cavallino.

According to the Vin number, it is a vespa ET4 125 leader, with no other information.

Does anyone knows if there is a similar one? how many were produced?

Thanks

Welcome!!

That seat will be leather, which means you'll need to condition it regularly (at least monthly if you're not using it frequently, weekly if you use it daily or close thereto). I would also recommend either storing indoors or getting at very minimum a reflective seat cover to protect it from UV rays which will break down the leather and crack it in short order.

Odds are it's just a red ET4 125 with a few badges and a different seat cover, so everything else that applies to that model should apply to yours.

Thank you.

It is my understanding that they were shipped to Ferrari, in order to customise them, hence why there is no information when looking in the vin database.

Any idea how many were made?

Nice find! Are you planning to ride it? I'd think you will need to replace all the rubber bits, and probably the belt. Lots of good folks here who can help you figure it out. Cheers!

Based on the photo, that appears to be a suede or nubuck leather, which would be an odd choice for automotive upholstery. I am only basing this on the close up of the under seat photo. It would also require different conditioning methods.

i saw that as well, and frankly that would be a big departure for Schedoni, especially in partnership with Ferrari. I've not seen any f-car luggage sets in suede.

Not that it isn't possible but definitely would be a weird change of direction.

but the early 21st was a wild time so...who knows lol
