Enjoyed his full-on weirdness. Funny story, I'd watched Pee-Wee's playhouse when it was first out. After getting married and having a kid, I think she was maybe 3 at the time, I thought, hey, this ought to be something different, brought a DVD home from the library and plunked my kid down to watch with me. The look on her face was priceless....total shock and awe. Laughing emoticon

My closest connection to Pee-wee.

Pee-wee Herman's 1988 film "Big Top" co-stared Italian actress, Valeria Golino. Around that time Vanity Fair was doing a story on her and called my buddy Scott Chain at Scooterville in Anaheim looking for a Vespa for her to pose on for a photoshoot. So I got called to trailer my Rally down to Brentwood for the day and do the shoot. She was pretty.

I was gutted by Pee Wee's passing. I don't know about his last request, but he did have a posthumous post.

They grew up watching Pee Wee's Playhouse and loved it. I always thought it was a great show and it still holds up after all these years.
