Modern Vespa

Minn-Max Scooters of Minnesota (My Riding Group) had our extended ride and anchored in a hotel in La Crosse on the might Mississippi River directly across from Minnesota. We then loop rode out to SE Minnesota - Lanesboro - beautiful riding area with the following day in SW Wisconsin and the beautiful Driftless Region. There were 14 scoots and a few who joined us for 1 day.

My favorite type of ride, sweeping back roads. tree covered canopies, deep valleys and scenic overlooks. Never a car to see. Just Amish horse drawn carts and farm tractors moving between fields. Dodged Deer, wild turkeys and an occasional farm dog.

I wanted to bring one experience up that I found interesting. We had lunch on day two riding in SE Minnesota in Preston at Trout City Brewing. They are in the old 100 year old bank building. The point of interest - the Bathroom is in the old Bank walk in Vault. See pictures below.

This is Charlie coming out of the Vault Bathroom. Essentially, they kept the front of the vault, removed the metal inside and build a bathroom. Door is real heavy and goes clunk.
