I want to fit an Audicator turn signal beeper inside the handlebar frame, as I have done on my 2015 and 2018 models, but don't know how to dismantle it.

I removed the mirrors, the screw under the headlamp and the two small screws near the grips, and that it as far as I can get. Can't find anything to shove/twist/pull through the mirror holes, have pulled in every direction, but the front and back halves of the handlebars refuse to separate.

Any tips?

Thanks, Pigletpilot. I had searched for a relevant Robot video, but didn't find that one.
So he just pulls the front section up and pulls. I will try it this afternoon. Hope I don't break anything.

Ok, that worked. I just pulled forward hard and the handlebars came apart. Now I have to learn how to get at the indicator switch. Have to watch Robot's video on fitting black frames arounds the switches.

These 2023 models are so difficult to work on. I dream about my GS150 that was so simple, just about anything could go wrong and I could do a roadside repair and get home. Once I pulled the head off and used a rock to bash loose a solidly seized piston so that I could get home.
