2019 Sei Gironi won't start. Turn key, all lights on etc. pull brake, press button, nothing but a "click" in the engine somewhere. Tested battery 12.3V, no change when trying to start. Tested start with the immobiliser engaged, (won't of course start) but there is no "click" from the engine. HELP... what should I be looking at?
start with checking battery, switches, relays, then possative and negative connections. Wiring diagram and robot from scooterwest.com are your friend. If problem has not been found there, you likely will need to have a mechanic skilled with knowledge of Vespas to assist in finding your starting problem. May a fix be found soonest.
Thanks for the guidance people.... went through the whole testing routine (thank you Mr Robot on YouTube) nothing.... then noticed the spark plug cap "shouldn't look like that" I thought, and sure enough there is a break in the cable where the HT joins (or is supposed to join) the top of the plug. Held it in place and the scoot fired..... Problem found.... now just have to fix it...
Thanks again everyone for the support.... now to find an "open barrel ring terminal" for the repair...
