Does this fuel line look right to you .
Reassembled carb , cleaned and all fresh gaskets, float etc.
New CDI and sparking as I accidentally found out with a yelp holding HT to engine case. CDI connectors pinched up and tight fitting . Lights come on when I kick over . Whatever I do can't get this bastard to start . The fuel line is only filling to the level as shown in pic . Surely whole line should fill? Yes taken cap off tank and raised the tank . I can feel fuel in the cylinder inlet from carb , smell fuel on the plug but it's not a lot imo. Have I got an air block ? Any answers or suggestions please ping them on here . As to the cdi , there's three wires , red , white and one green , yellow on the cdi going to engine case . Is the green the kill wire? If it is I will pull out in case I got ignition wire break somewhere going back to ignition key wiring . Thx all. P.s. pilot is two and half turns out for start point.

Fuel hose looks ok for me.
Try mix screw to 1.5 out.
Green wire on CDI must be a kill switch wire. Check it and if it so then
disconnect green wire from CDI and try to start.

How long is the fuel hose? Could it be getting pinched when you put the tank back? Get rid of the air bubble too.

I've shortened hose by one inch and the bubbles gone. Still can't start the bastard . Disconnected green from cdi and no joy. I've taken air filter box off to see if that makes difference , nothing . So as the pk been laid up for a while , think next step is empty tank , refuel fresh gas and get a tin of easy start spray and give a pure burst of ethanol . I think if I can get her going the problems will go away . I friggin hate shbl carbs , it's such a faff taking on and off. There's fuel in the float bowl and fuel through to inlet manifold and plug. If I use the easy start spray and it starts then won't start per normal I can head back to fuel delivery issues cause I can't think of what else it could be . The tank itself has new tap and that flows fine off the hose , the tank cap breather hole is clear .

Pull the spark plug out and leave it out for an hour to let things evaporate off. New gas wouldn't be a bad idea either.

Yes not a bad idea. On reflection , that fuel is probably 6 months old ; didn't even realise time gone that quick. I think E10 life is only about 3 months in a tank before going off , especially after warm weather. I will get a Jerry can of E5 super tomorrow and give it a try plus some easy start spray to try and get a fire up to burn the shit out of cylinder etc .

So it now works every time . With a bit of input from everybody

Pinched up cdi connector plates.
New HT Lead, plug and cap.
New fuel.
When attaching shbl Carb to manifold I've learned that you shouldn't tighten straight away . Turn on the fuel tap and the fuel runs down and you see air bubbles. Turn the carb on manifold till the fuel line fills, this is optimum position. Sit on the tank pushing carb forward then tighten . She runs great, 1.5 turns out was pretty much bang on for dialling in with throttle stop etc . Was about to head out on her and brake lever cage broke so cable won't bite. At least it's running great and starts every time. Took the other scoot for mot test and the bike shop owner saying they are getting bikes bought in not running after only one month of fuel sitting in tank , so don't use e10 and regularly top your e5 up. If your scoot been sitting for months drain your fuel off and start again.
