However this means that you're only getting most of it the rest of the time, probably I'd argue to make it last longer.

Imagine someone limiting your motorcycle to 7000 rpm until you needed it.
My Mazda has about 100km left in it when the range estimate gets to 0. Fuel light has been on for a little while by then. I assume to stop stupid owners (myself included) from running the tank dry which is bad for the fuel pump.

ps, HPE tone wheel.

I ride an old push rod Moto Guzzi so I know how that feels. Razz emoticon Rev limiter kicks in at 7.5K. I've had a couple of brown trouser moments overtaking a car when it kicked in and dropped the revs.

I think you missed the point.

The Manufacturer has the power to increase and reduce the power of your EV at will.

The one that you bought and paid for and is registered in your name, they have autonomy over.

I guess that it's going to make Repo's a lot easier.

Bobo, Traction Control on a V9 probably feels just as bad. It feels like you just broke it....again

I posted somewhere else about a conversation with a local guy who had the CE04. He had some street cred. He grew up around his Dad's HD dealership and rode lots of Harleys, but he was also a Zuma rider.

When they moved into the burbs, his Harley saw very little road time and he sold it. Eventually he replaced it with this BMW and has no regrets.

I couldn't warrant the cost, but for him it was a perfect bike. He said the performance was great. He was hitting the speed and mileage markers just fine with it.
