Modern Vespa

Hey guys.

I noticed this morning that the white or yellowish plastic cap where the electrical plug for the fuel level is start to crumble and there's a little hole and I can smell the gas from it.

What can I put to seal it again.. Is it a problem or I can live with it .

that assembly is typically not a serviceable item. I'd replace the whole thing, any sort of repair on poor condition plastic-- especially where gas is present-- is only a temporary fix.
