The battery went dead 2 months ago and every since she only rides well in ASR mode??

Help please?

I had her new in may 22 and put a pm exhaust and injection module with changing the timing wheel and calibrated it all. she worked fine for a year, really, really, really fine. then I left the lights on and had to recharge the battery.
Ever since then I've had to run her in ASR mode, or else she is spluttering back firing and not accelerating.

I've recalibrated her and gone through the motions by taking the module off and she runs only on ASR.

What have I done wrong?

Thank you for your time and ride it like you don't know her name. x

Reading this makes me suspect you have your understanding of ASR back to front.

ASR light ON* = ASR Disabled

I thought maybe I was, but I kept reading the ASR on the dash and the system is turned on.
So, with the ASR on the screen means the the computer system pussy system is off?

That's the way it is with my new BV400, too. Also something similar with my Honda car: lights on = system off. I suppose it's a warning that the safety system is disabled.

yes, off. it may seem back to front at first until you realise the light is a warning light not an enabled light (as JKJ-FZ6 alludes to)

also, don't try reving on the stand with asr on as it will get grumpy and pot and sputter.

so if you problem is happening only when asr is _on_ then it's going to mean you need to check tire pressure and then calibrate the asr (instructions in manual).

related question, does the abs light go off once you start riding?
