Hi I got my Vespa t5 with the aotulube disconnected. The guy i got it off said the clutch went bang because of the autolube stopped working on the guy he got it off. He gave me the receipts of parts he got off the other guy. The parts what was replaced was new crank, main bearing, main seal, clutch and engine gaskets. There was No damage to the cylinder, piston and rings. To me that's not right. If autolube stopped working wouldn't the damage be cylinder, piston and rings. That's what happened to one of mine in the past. The crank was ok. Yesterday I have serviced the pump and installed the spindle. The spindle looked ok. And reconnected the autolube. Check if it works by watching the bubble in the oil line and went out for 20 minutes ride and all seems ok. The cog behind the clutch looked ok when I had the clutch out not long ago. All seems ok. Before i service the oil pump I check it and it was working fine. To me the oil pump didn't stop working to cause the damage before I had it. All seems ok. Or is it. ?.

My autolube line came loose and the result was a soft seize. Some scoring on the piston, but that's pretty much it. Nothing else was damaged.
