Have a P200, 80, and I'm at the end of my rope with it. Keep taking things apart and not getting any closer to a running Vespa. Could anyone point me towards a reputable mechanic somewhere between here and perhaps MPLS,MN.?

Replaced the loom on the stator, Cleaned the carb a few times. Not getting over 12 volts on the battery when I do get it running for a bit. Got to get at other projects before the cold comes at me.

I see new shops in some of my local cities but I'm uneasy about what their experience with the vintage is. Thanks for any thoughts.

Hello Friday Matinee,

Thanks for the tip. That's a bit too far for me. I'm a few hours drive from MPLS, Mn. and there are some shops here in Iowa but I don't know anything about just exactly what they service.

There's Green Tree Scooters in Mason City who has experience w/ these bikes, but I have no particular knowledge of them beyond that.

thanks Voodoo,

He worked on my scooter over 10 years ago. Their phone doesn't seem to work and when I search the web for them it seems to go looney tunes, like some kinda chinese thingy.
