The problem with anyone going to Red Bull is the fact that no one in that team appears to smile apart from Max. They are very tough on drivers.

I think that Sainz is a far better fit than Max at Mercedes.

Recently Formula E sold the TV rights to TNT to broadcast the series in the UK.

When it was free to air 3 people were watching it. Now you have to pay no one is watching it.

That is a very large amount. It also points out that I've got some work to when it comes to comprehending how these things really work. Purchasing an entire sport...I really hadn't thought much about how things are structured and how a racing series differs from a football league or, say, "tennis". It's interesting.

In the case of F1, Liberty Media are the "commercial rights holders". That differs from the FIA, which administers the rules for the sport and oversees the competition. F1 and the FIA work together to make the whole thing happen, but they are distinct entities.

Yeah, at present he's testing the Porsche 963 hypercar thats in the 24 Hours Le Mans this year.

Well I say 2025 because nothing has been announced so far but I have a strange feeling that a seat would be found for him if he enjoyed the experience.

I'll be at Le Mans in June to see if it all checks out but I'll be paying more attention to the BMW which looks like a shark with it's mouth open.
