The 6 Hour WEC race is worth a visit.

Humorous note: Yuki Tsunoda has a 60 place grid penalty. That is not a typo.

I don't know the rules - does that get wiped out all in one go starting at the back or from the pitlane? Or is it starting at the back for as long as it takes to whittle the total down?

Tomorrow's race has a chance to be quite fun.

With the fastest car/driver starting 10th (11th?), on a fast track with passing opportunities, especially for Red Bull cars, I will enjoy seeing how long it takes for Max to get to the front.

Ferrari with LeClerc on pole (sort of) will be good too.

I am guessing he won't be leading after the first lap, maybe first corner.

I am looking forward to watching.

He'll get put at the back of the grid, which will use up the entire 60 point penalty. And as he only qualified P18, that 60-place penalty goes down to a 2-place penalty.

Which is a pretty neat trick.

Apparently the reason that Alpine got rid of Ocon was because they checked his car's Sat Nav which has Williams F1 address still left in it when he visited for talks.

If you haven't seen the film, I strongly recommend it.

If you watched Imola in person, you may not want to watch that portion of the film though. It nearly ruined me.

Very happy we were able to at least get to the memorial and pay respects in person. The number of flags, signs, flowers, etc. left there 30 years later absolutely astonishes me.

This is the lamest demolition derby I have ever seen.

well that was just half a nudge and its given since its stock car racing , other driver couldn't save it because they are going half speed since they are on a shorter and narrower angled track

note : these cars handle as well as jello cakes on slow speeds

The Stewards weighed Russell's car twice just make sure that no mistakes were made and then they removed the wheels and tyres and weighed them.

The belief is that so much rubber was lost from the tyres it made the car underweight.

This is my theory as well, and I'm seeing that explanation come from a few other news sources as well. Plus, as I said, no cool-down lap to pick up marbles. Spa is unique in the entire F1 calendar in that way.

I heard he had a specific clause in his Williams contract that would allow him to go to Red Bull or Mercedes if the opportunity came up. And I think he would have preferred that, if the seat was available. Because it's still Sauber. You can put lipstick on a pig and call it Audrey, but it's still a pig. For now, at least. Seems possible.

I'm starting to think that Bottas will stay until 2025.

I don't think that he's got anywhere else to go.
