Portimao will be right on your doorstep.
The Grand Prix at Spa is incredible but it gets totally rammed for the F1.
The 6 Hour WEC race is worth a visit.

OP here.
OK, the Hungaroring was fun. Still got the fast-forward remote in my hand, missing a few things from the 1960's O.S.
Like these cars in the rain, 1966 Italian GP
and safely thumbing rides all across the USA with your friends

On current form I'm going to with Lando, Oscar and Max at Spa.
Unless of course if it rains as then Lewes will dominate. |

Bruno Famin is due to leave Alpine.
Who saw that coming ? McLaren's fastest at Spa so far. |

Quali was fun! Leclerc on pole (because of Max's engine penalty).
Humorous note: Yuki Tsunoda has a 60 place grid penalty. That is not a typo. |

I don't know the rules - does that get wiped out all in one go starting at the back or from the pitlane? Or is it starting at the back for as long as it takes to whittle the total down?

Tomorrow's race has a chance to be quite fun.
With the fastest car/driver starting 10th (11th?), on a fast track with passing opportunities, especially for Red Bull cars, I will enjoy seeing how long it takes for Max to get to the front. Ferrari with LeClerc on pole (sort of) will be good too. I am guessing he won't be leading after the first lap, maybe first corner. I am looking forward to watching. Bill

Which is a pretty neat trick. Here is the penalty-adjusted starting grid for tomorrow: https://www.formula1.com/en/results/2024/races/1242/belgium/starting-grid |

I'm starting to think that Hamilton made the presumption that the race win was his once Russell pitted because he wasn't very chatty after the race.
Nice to see the blue cars missing from the podium. Talks about Perez's future tomorrow. |

Apparently the reason that Alpine got rid of Ocon was because they checked his car's Sat Nav which has Williams F1 address still left in it when he visited for talks.

It nearly ruined me. Very happy we were able to at least get to the memorial and pay respects in person. The number of flags, signs, flowers, etc. left there 30 years later absolutely astonishes me.

The Stewards weighed Russell's car twice just make sure that no mistakes were made and then they removed the wheels and tyres and weighed them.
The belief is that so much rubber was lost from the tyres it made the car underweight. |

I'm just going to put my hand up and admit that I was wrong about Carlos going to Red Bull.
The question that I'm really interested in is why no one wants to drive for Audi ? Maybe Antonelli IS going to Mercedes Benz in 2025 ? |

I don't think that he's got anywhere else to go. |
