So now that I have the engine running, it is time for a makeover, I will ride it for at least a couple of months first before I drop major money into it.
some of the things that need upgrading are
1 tires
2 suspension
3 headlight
4 speedo
5 scrub and paint, still undecided what color to paint it but it is either gonna be matte black, OD green, rally orange.

so hopefully I can document everything and be helpful to someone else

Not too worried about that, more worried about them being able to absorb a pot hole, I ride "city" 99.9% of the time and under 35mph.

unfortunately the local Vespa dealer doesn't have anything in stock, even tune-up consumables have to be ordered from the CONUS.

their favorite words are "we can order it for you and it will take 4-6 weeks" well I can order it too and get it in 3 days
