Modern Vespa

I finally have a solid opinion on the fly screen issue. My 2012 GTS didn't have one. My 2018 GTS Touring did, which it came with. I had it on and then off and then back on. I noticed right away when putting it on that the buffeting on my upper chest was annoying but I learned to live with it. My 2023 GTS Super didn't have one but I ordered one from the dealer cause I kind of like the look. It was back ordered so I rode the scoot for 6 weeks without one. I realized that for me (6'2") the ride was much smoother without it so I cancelled the order. Just my opinion and YMMV but at least now I have finally made up my mind. Good to know and pretty much what I've been reading for years.

For shorter folks the turbulence makes for a very noisy helmet, ear plugs required. I pulled the short screen off my second R100GS 34 years ago and have not owned a bike with one since.
