Had to pull my carb to unplug a jet and had it sonic cleaned.
Thought we had reinstalled everything with same number of turns etc that it was set at when we pulled it out
Ran it but it was off. Pulled plug and it is totally black.
Anyone have the factory settings I can go to as a start.
Thanks

I don't believe there is an actual "factory setting" for this. I'd try seating it then backing off 2-2.5 turns and seeing how it runs. I'd also check the evap and ensure it isn't clogged. I think this carb runs noticeably better with a 38 jet, which is inexpensive. Good luck, and let us know how it goes. And ensure the manifold is in good condition.

I saw reference to a separate brass bushing that goes in above the main jet. Probably to pilot the needle. Maybe this part was put in upside down?
Here is a good video to check out. It's for the GT200 but also applies to an LX150.

You start with the screw 2 turns out, which is near the middle of the range of an acceptable end state of 1/2 to 3 1/2 turns out.
According to my notes, so I probably didn't write this originally (maybe Greasy did?): when you're done the screw should be set at least 1/2 turn out from fully seated, and no more than 3 turns out. If it is less than 1/2 turn out from fully seated when it runs best, you should install a smaller pilot jet and readjust. If it is more than 3 turns out, you should install a larger pilot jet and readjust. If the screw ends up more than around 3-1/2 turns out from fully seated, the spring tension on the screw is insufficient and there is a chance the screw can vibrate out.
(I have done many carb adjustments over the years and maybe I'm just dumb, but I always find it helpful to refer to specific instructions for each carb.)
By the way, on this carb a lot of people including me have been happy upping the low speed jet from the stock 35 size to 38. It costs ten bucks and takes five minutes once you have the carb out. Better idle and slightly better performance off the line.
(In other words…what JenniferJupiter already said!)
