Modern Vespa

As the cooler weather starts approaching anyone know where I can get a Vespa jacket from?

Every item has a SKU (e.g. 606992MVJ for a denim jacket https://www.vespa.com/de_DE/zubehor/bekleidung/jacken/vespa-denim-jacke-606992m/). With this SKU you could check local availability.

Years ago there where a lot more official merchandising stuff made by Adidas (not sure if this was available outside of Europe).

not likely to be authentic....or even made by someone whose age is two digits (though it's possible an adult makes items on ali--they're just likely doing so with armed guards nearby).

aliexpress and temu--two of the only companies in the world that refuse to publicly state no child or slave/prisoner labor is used to make their products.

but those are about the only reasonable explanations for their unbelievably low prices.

Also some of those designs are ripped off from our resident artist.

Alternatively, get a denim motorcycle jacket, join a local Vespa club and sew on some patches!

I bought multiple jackets from wish.com but they all shipped from China. Great prices shipping takes a few weeks. I recommend you order a size bigger than normal.

Getting a size up is a good call. Especially if it is a chilly ride and you want to layer up.

Not specifically Vespa. I find trying on riding jackets at my local Cycle Gear Store that same sizes really vary between different manufactures. You almost have to try it on and not go by size indicated. Here is the spread, one jacket fit me at XL another at 2XL.

I have noticed that when I reach for the handlebars my sleeves get shorter.

I noticed that when I put my hands up my stomach gets cold. I think you can adjust your handlebars closer to you.

I got this Port Authorty jacket with hood and drawstrings a few months ago.
It has a textured fleece inside, is wind proof and waterproof, and had all the right pockets.

One Vespa patch would make it official.

Textured fleece does sound a smidge less protective than abrasion resistance and body armor, or is the jacket meant for walking around the Vespa?

I only ride in Toreador Pants, even without all the right pockets.

You're not wrong. When it got real hot out this summer, I got this jacket to wear instead of my armored leather jacket.

Just got this Alpinestars Drystar jacket and couldn't be happier.

How does it fit. Did you have to size up or it took to your regular size.

Went one size up and fitted good,has an inner lining you can unzip as well.

How about a Vespa Helmet?

Piaggio sells Vespa branded jet helmets. I tried one on at the store in Piaggio Museum in Pontedera but it didn't fit my head shape.
