How do I replace the cable for the seat lock on a vespa S 50 the replacement .
Do I need to remove the seat cover and replace from top?
Any ideas.

Has the cable snapped? On sailing boats, they often have to replace ropes or sometimes metal cables that run down the inside of the mast - but they do this by attaching the new cable to the old one and pulling it through.

You want to be 100% sure the new cable is firmly attached to the old one though.
