Somebody please tell me their is a better option than the stock seat that has a huge hump in it. I cant sit back far enough. Has anyone found a flat seat option with better foam in it? Do any other model seats fit the primavera 150?

There are many shops around which do motorcycle/scooter upholstery work, and many posts on MV about DIY seat modifications. It is not too difficult to remove the vinyl and modify the foam to diminish the hump. Or for somewhat more money, ScooterWest sells a solo seat for the Primavera (and Sprint) 150.

I had the solo sport seat on my 2016 Sprint and just got one for my 2021 GTS 300. The solo seats definitely let you sit a bit further back and are a bit lower. I find them comfortable but if you carry a passenger they are not comfortable for the pillion.

You can remove 2/3 of the rear staples, leaving the front covered. Buy a wood rasp and shape the seat. shape it at an angle. If you go strait back, you lose too much padding.
Stretch that cover tight, glue it and use an electric stapler on it. I went to an upholstery shop for stapling. ![]() This is the seat for my SH.

Not the Primavera, but I just had a custom Corbin seat made for my LX150. I had them move the rider section back 2". I had the same problem with the stock LX seat. FYI.. I'm 6'0 with a 32" inseam.
A bit pricey but well worth it. ![]() |

If so could you take a pic of the underside This particular one I had the rider section moved back 2 inches and the front nose raised to prevent sliding forward. Plus the sides were shaved down to make the seat bucket not as narrow as their off the shelf seat. I learned this from ordering a their stock seat for an older GTS. I didn't like it. These were the mods that need to be made for me to be comfortable on it. I have a Corbin on both of my Vespas made the same way. You can go the Corbin website and check out their seats. |

Corbin makes their own seat pans. They are solid, you can pop rivet straps to the pan for mounting a tail bag. Their phone support is superb, nothing beats real-time interaction when you're working out an ergonomic issue. Suggest you look into their material options, different textures affect how much slip or stick is in the surface and sides. Material is available if you want your local shop to cover the backrest pad on your top box to match.

Sounds like you've got the single person sports seat? Can you post a photo?
I paid a couple of hundred for the sports seat in England, maybe you can find someone local to you and do a straight swap if you'd prefer the flat 2 person version. |
