My 23 GTS Verde Amabile smells like gas, but there's no evidence of a leak anywhere. I may have overfilled it once a month ago but it's been ridden several times since and I don't overfill it.

This is the only one (out of nice 2023 GTS in the collection) that smells like gas after riding. Again, no stains on the garage floor, no evidence of leaks under the pet carrier insert. Think I may have disturbed the evap canister or something?

Im hoping it goes away but so far, hasn't seemed to harm anything other than that obnoxious smell... OOooooo that smell!

You should sell it cheap, before it explodes. Could save your life!

I'll drive out from Texas for the right price...

But seriously, sounds like you either got some gas into the evap canister, and it's taking its time to dissipate, or maybe a little spillage got onto/into the pet carrier plastic, or something's venting when it shouldn't.

As long as you don't smoke while hunched over the engine, life is good.

No stains on the muffler? I hate it when the fuel leaks on there.

I was having a bad gas smell after riding my GTS. I think I narrowed it down to the fancy gas cap I bought for it. I put the stock cap back on and no more gas smell in the garage.

After purchasing a 2023 in every color from Vespa Motorsport SD, you should have received a red phone (kinda like the Bat Phone) that dials direct to Robot.

You should also have received, with purchase, a 'Robot Signal' spotlight that you can shine into the air which prompts a swift, in-person, mechanical super hero.

Same thing happens at home. I look at the wife, then she looks at the cat. Hard to tell who is responsible.

I would be interested to see if that solves the problem. I know it did for me.

what kind of accessory gas cap do people buy? it's hidden under the seat so I really am not sure what would entice you to swap it out.

Yeah, I know. It was a silly waste of money for me. I guess I enjoyed looking at it when I had the seat up.

It never really threaded on properly without a struggle and I think it was the cause of my fuel smell in the garage.

It was not the gas cap. The gas tank itself was leaking and it became a safety issue. I took it down to Vespa Motorsport where the excellent service shop led by Robot took care of the issue. A full tank replacement was in order and now she's back on the road! There was a crack in the spot weld (or something like that) right where the tank level sensor is.

Same types of people who finish off their engine bays and undercarriages as nicely or nicer than the outside and interior of their restomod cars I'd suppose.
In the body shops we had some customers with quite the emotional attachment to their vehicles, once had a firemen who on his days off would pull the bed off of his Chevy truck for access to wax the cab back panel and inner front bed panel
