Modern Vespa

Hi guys, great site here.

OK I'm looking to buy a Gt200 2003, been looking for a tidy one in Vintage Green for a while and clean ones are tough to find nowadays.

....but she has a leaking accelerator pump....as pump is part of float body it appears the float body bore to pump plunger is worn out...seen this before on other applications and is a no fix fault.

As a 2003 I'm guess it's a Walbro, possibly a Keihin Cvk30, I know they are interchangeable.

Question. I can buy a new Keihin GT125 carb for £130, but the Gt200 is £450. I'm just wondering if the difference is merely jet size or, venturi bore, needle and jet tapers etc.

Any help most welcome as at the moment it a deal breaker.

Hi I have 03 gt125 and from what I've read the carbs are identical but the 125 has bigger jets.. so just needs jets swapping over..I'm sure someone will be more specific
