I completely agree with xkcd, but. I-17 in AZ has been two lanes north and south since I arrived in 1972. The population in that time has more than tripled to over 6 million, and finally the state is adding a lane, in each direction, to the edge of the metroplex. In my mind I know traffic will increase, but my emotions scream "get it done!"
