Would a change to an Akrapovic make a noticeable change in performance, both rear suspension and engine. I know the sound will change.

Nope, no wheelies. Noticable to the rider and those in my rear view mirrors who I want to get smaller.

I'm going to speculate that lighter Malossi rollers (for around $25) will give you more performance than a high dollar muffler will.
