Hi all. Brand new battery, new 7,5 A box fuse next to battery and new starter relay but still nothing happening when i turn The ignition on. Am i missing a trick here....removed all The body panels but cannot find any other fuses or fuse box....is This 7,5 Amp box fuse located by The battery The only fuse on The entire scooter? Nothing lights up or starts when i turneringen The key to The on position...weird...

Yes, there's only one fuse.

Do any lights come on when you turn the ignition on? You should see the oil light come on, and the brake light should work if everything is wired and working correctly.

The ignition switch is located behind the horn cover. Prone to corrosion there due to its location. I recommend having a look there. 🤞

Yes, definitely check groundings to the frame.

Check that the switch works too - it's the black and green thing in your pic. 👍

Do any lights come on when you turn the switch on? Does the brake light work?

Thanks for The feedback...check or just replace The green and black switch in my photo? How many earth/grund sites on The ET2?

Take out the plug from the ignition switch and bridge the white to the red blue. If nothing still comes on there is a problem somewhere else…

Thanks man...any idea as to exactly where The electrical system is grounded to The scooter frame on a 2004 ET2? Might be worthwhile removing The grund, good clean befire reinstalling them for improved contact with the frame...

I totally get you want to get it running and ride. 👍 🛵💨

Thing is, I've not seen an answer - when you turn the key on, do any lights come on (dashboard), and/or does your brake light work?

Earth - located somewhere in your battery tray area, bolted to the frame.

Thanks Oscar...NO nothing lights up and NO sound of The starter motor ticking over when I turn The key and press The starter Button. NO oil Light and NO brake Light despite a brand new battery and fuse.

Attached a photo of The battery compartment and think I found two wires attached to The frame at The very top of The photo...my guess these two cables are earth or ground wires.

It's a 2T, no oil light will light up unless the level is low in the tank. Are the stop switches on the brake levers OK?? If those aren't working, the brake light won't come on and also the starter won't work…

Ok, so on my 21 year old ET2 - the ignition switch was faulty. That doesn't mean yours is, but that's the problem I had.

Also, the indicators should work with the key on (but engine off). Another way to eliminate the brake light switch, and implicate the ignition switch potentially. 👍

Of course, someone could have messed with the wiring, rendering our help useless. 🙈

Thanks for all your input...have now ordered a new ignition switch that sits behind The key ignition and Will clean and re-connect The two earth wires beside The battery and see IF that helps. Cheers!

It's always good to check/verify before ordering parts. I'm sure there's a way of checking the switch… maybe someone can chip in.
