I cleaned out a shop in Texas that did restos/ rebuilds on old Vespa's. Five frames- 1x P200, 3x P125 and a '05 Stella. Forks, hubs. Parts, parts, parts. New SIP stuff, new rubber, rail kits, pipes, grips, taps, carbs, seats, tanks, nuts, bolts. The 200 frame is soda blasted to bare metal, but one of the P125's had a new wiring harness pulled through and all new cables, so I decided to do a quick n dirty build on that one. While the silver was a great color when new, it was the least durable and long wearing of all Vespa P colors. So some pics are attached. Trying to decide on doing some CLR and a wax job, or rattle- can it. I have an early p150 block to build up for this one. Worth saving this "patina"? Is this too far ugly for that? LOL. I have my "ratty" VBA and my "pretty" white Stella. Something different? All of the floor rust is superficial. Front fender is an FA Italia repro.
