Hi!

I'd love to add a spotlight on my PK, both for aesthetics and for a bit more light.
Something smaller than the headlight, to be mounted near to front fender, or on the luggage rack.

In order to avoid spending too much or having to do some electric modifications, I thought about just mounting a good battery rechargeable light, like the ones used on bikes.

Do you have any recommendation for me?

Thanks!

If I was serious about the aesthetics part, I would probably look for a vintage style chrome headlamp for a bike and figure out how to take the guts from a newer rechargeable LED bicycle light inside. However, I doubt you'd get something bright or focused enough to be a "spot" light.

If you don't care about aesthetics you could look for LED rechargeable bike light on Amazon or a bike shop near you. I have some very affordable reasonably bright lights for my bicycle that were about $15. They have a rubber strap and could easily mount to a luggage rack.

Thanks, spacecat.

I tried a rechargeable LED light, from my bike, the other day.
I have to say it worked better than I expected, even though it's a bit on the narrow side.

I thought about buying one like this,

https://www.amazon.com/Rechargeable-Bicycle-Waterproof-Headlight-Function/dp/B0B8WZDG6T/ref=sr_1_6?keywords=battery%2Bpowered%2Bbike%2Blight&qid=1695983584&sr=8-6&th=1&psc=1,

but I can't seem to find the bigger one in Europe and get it delivered to me in the next couple of days... (I'll be going a trip with my friends in the end of the week).

So, the search continues.

I had to Velcro flashlights on my first Vespa for summer evenings on a remote island where I couldn't get parts for proper lights. But I mostly wanted to be seen from front and back, they didn't let me see very much ahead.

But that was many years ago and 'tactical' LED flashlights have come a long way, including options to focus the beam. I checked Amazon too and lots of good choices but that's here. If you need something better than your current bike light quick, check at a local bike shop and upgrade, but get your wallet out. Crying or Very sad emoticon

Thanks.

My bike's light is not bad at all. Actually, when I turn it on I can barely notice the Vespas headlight...

I also have a Led Lenser P7, that is very good, but not intended to use in a Vespa.
But I'll try it also.

I mounted a cheap LED stud-mount motorcycle fog light to my Stella front fork (made possible because I removed the stock fender for a SIP hugger fender), and wired it to the power coming into the horn. It's always on, which is OK with me. Very bright. They cost me about $30 for two; the first one lasted two seasons before shorting out.
