Looked through lots and lots of on line sites w/specs for the BV 400 and even the older BV 350 and cannot seem find what the ground clearance is. I will need to know if I have to trailer my new scoot home. ( trailer height/length of ramp equation). Thanks for any replies.

FWIW, my trailer is about 15 inches high with a 39 inch ramp. I've pushed my BV400 on and off, without hitting bottom. The ramp is straight, not curved like some. The scooter was loaded with the trailer and towing vehicle on a level street, though it's a lot easier if you can back up to a curb or hill and reduce the slope of the ramp.

Here are some pictures; maybe they'll help at least get an idea of the ground clearance. It's difficult to get a good picture, doing it by myself.
With the scooter on the center stand, the lowest point is the brace across the middle of the scooter. Measures about 7 1/2".
Off the stand, with me sitting on the scoot, it drops about 2".
On the side stand the lowest point is the center stand, about 5" from the ground (but it's close to the wheel so it won't hang up on the trailer). The lowest center brace is about 6" off the ground.
Scooter on side stand, measurement to the center stand pivot point.

Probably a better way to measure ground clearance:

Does it clear two 2x4s? (1.5*3.5=5") Yes

Does it clear 2x4s plus 3/4"?
(5 3/4") No

Thanks. I appreciate it. I can now mock up a cardboard/wood simulated scooter ( well kinda) with 5-5-1/4" ground clearance and check if my trailer/ramps will work. I'll modify what ever if -it doesn't.
Thanks.

I was gonna ask if there was a mathematical formula for that. Remember, you can back up against a curb or hill to raise the end of the ramp. Let me know if you need more measurements.
