Seems like every Ride Apart article shared on MV was written by someone in South East Asia who may or may not even have much knowledge on motorcycles.
Ride Apart lost or let go of so many talented moto journalists (like Kanishka Sonnadara) several years ago and have been an empty shell ever since. They do nothing original but simply rehash press releases. Mindlessly.
There's no more journalism, criticism, integrity. It's just, here's the press release, send it to someone probably paid a few dollars to re-write it into an article, publish. "Ours is not to ask, ours is but to do."
Yikes.
They'll write about how the Scrambler is 12% more expensive than the Speed in the US (17% more expensive in Canada)... but no comment on what you get for the price difference. That wasn't mentioned in the press release, and they aren't in the business, or the practice, of giving opinions.
Another garbage article from a garbage publication that used to be quite good, a long long time ago.
I will most likely be buying one of those two bikes though.
