Mrs Syd and I visited a coffee shop/bar in Cave Creek the other evening to watch some local artists. I set up a tab, then left without closing my tab or picking my credit card
I didn't notice until the next morning, then called the place to tell them I'd be there to pick it up. Mrs Syd came along, we picked up the card and decided to have a beer (without starting a tab!). As we sat and sipped we noticed a case of wine with an image of a stylized Vespa on the box. Here's the proof.
For us westerners, the mountains in the background look like Shiprock!

That's also the avatar of a member here: https://modernvespa.com/members/phaskins

Also, maybe it's just me, but the "il bastardo" scooter looks more like a Honda Spree than a Vespa.

I have to try this wine. North-Eastern Italy, near the Alps, North of Venice. Just a stones throw from my favourite wine region in Tuscany. It's almost impossible to go wrong with IGT Tuscany wine, with a DOCG label.
One of my favourite memories from Italy was going into the Eataly store in Rome and fill a big winebottle from a barrel for a Euro. The food ingredients there were amazing too.

I'll have to try those. Normally I stick to the Southern Italian wines of Puglia and Sicily such as the Negroamaro, Nero d'avola and Primitivo, especially with a good pasta.

I came across this Primitivo too but it doesn't have anything to do with the scooters but with the real wasps haha

Thaaaaaat's where I've seen it. Headlight looks round to me though. Not spree-like.

Cool thread, can I play?! It's somewhat subject related. I always wanted to make homemade wine. I ended up picking blackberries in the neighborhood, they're everywhere... The first 3 gallon batch came out to about 10.5 % (if my hydrometer readings and calculations are correct). I was aiming for a dryer wine. We had fun making the labels and the process in general.

Here's homemade bottle #1 on my home rebuilt '22 Primavera.
